Interesting doesn't quite capture the full scope of 2020. Crazy, frustrating, and sometimes depressing. But what looked like what might be an awful year for the housing industry in the start turned out to be quite amazing. Thankfully the Artisan Tour, although postponed into October due to the pandemic, was a great success even with all of the social distancing, masks, and protective barriers. Flip through the pages and see for yourself all of the incredible homes and hopefully next year will be a little more predictable;)
I think I speak for both Jim and I when I say WHEW that was a lot of homes to shoot! But, once again we somehow managed to get all of these homes photographed in about 3 short weeks in June. Post production of course took a bit more time but the results where worth it. I hope you enjoy thumbing through the images as much as we enjoyed creating them for you.
Yet another wonderful collection of magnificent homes at your fingertips. Shooting the tour this year went pretty smooth aside from a few hiccups like weather. Much to my surprise they selected an image for the cover I shot about 10 minutes after the home was hit with 50 MPH winds. With tree branches down and lawn furniture everywhere we cleaned up what we could and managed to pull off a winner! Thankfully there was no damage to the home;)
I'm a little late (about a year) posting for the 2017 Artisan Home Tour Look Book, so here it is. Every year the homes are amazing and sure to please and this years homes are no different. Enjoy

We start with an empty space and then the movers and designers stage the space into something that looks like home. From there we step in and work with them to create a final image for there marketing. Then the space is ripped apart and we start all over again on another set, sometimes shooting 5-10 sets in one day. It makes for a long day, but there always fun!

Jim and I had another fun June shooting sunrise to sunset all of the fantastic homes on this years Artisan Tour by Parade of Homes. Lucky for you it's all wrapped up in one beautiful book that you can enjoy at your leisure. It's the next best thing to actually touring the homes, although I highly recommend seeing them in person...truly spectacular! There's always next year ;)
